Powered by dual Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines, each 380hp at 1,800rpm, she can comfortably cruise at 9 knots or reach speeds up to 14 knots. As an expedition vessel designed for intensive cruising capability and long ocean passages, MAVERICK is a proven and capable expedition vessel for passages in excess of 6,000 nautical miles, frequently in rugged conditions. KUIPERS DOGGERSBANK YACHT MAVERICK is an entertainer’s dream. Internally she boasts a spacious and luxurious saloon, formal lounge and separate dining, panoramic picture windows and three beautifully appointed ensuite staterooms. Enjoy alfresco dining on the sheltered cockpit or cocktails at twilight in the flybridge, with its’ layout comprising of a Corian bar, double Miele electric grill, refrigerator and an ice maker, all completely protected by a full-boxed bulwark and Plexiglass windshield. Accommodating up to 6 guests and 4 crew, the lower deck guest foyer houses the aft full beam Master stateroom with a King size bed, porthole openings, custom private occasional chair with an ottoman, a desk, two large closets and two bathrooms. The two forward guest staterooms each have large twin berths and private ensuites, with all guest bathrooms exquisitely fitted with heated marble flooring, heated towel racks, granite benchtops and Cherry panelling.

Oil samples have frequently been taken on the engines and the generators. Other than oil changes, sensor replacement, injector replacement, zinc replacement, and heat exchanger replacement very little work has been necessary over 45,000 nautical cruising miles on the engines and generators

Recent maintenance includes:
New computers for the DMP system, new LED overhead lighting, new gyro compass, two new dishwashers, two new washing machines, two new ice makers, new eisenglass curtains, complete exterior repaint, rebuilding of both tenders with new tubes on the large tender, one new Sea Recovery 33 gal/hour water maker.
