Hampton 760-20 has arrived in Newport Beach CA and is one beautiful yacht with many custom touches. The owners made some changes to the regular design and have come out with a gorgeous boat.
Owner Mark made some subtle and some not-so-subtle changes: replacing the lower helm with a country kitchen gives the galley area a nice space for entertaining. And, with the sightline into the salon it becomes one big entertainment space.
The only helm is in the enclosed sky lounge complete with head. The captain has all the comforts needed for a long journey. The crew quarter double bunks have been replaced with one twin-sized bunk. The same treatment was given the port-side stateroom: one full-sized bunk instead of smaller bunks for two people. The extended swim platform allows for dinghy storage which then frees up the top deck for barbecuing and relaxing space.
Her maiden voyage was out the Newport Beach Inlet and into the ocean. She displayed wonderful handling and a nice cruising speed.
