Sanctuary Cove based Leigh-Smith Yachts will present a wide range of boats at this year’s SCIBS. Amongst them are two new releases from Alaska Yachts.
The long anticipated addition to the Alaska fleet has arrived with the 43ft Sedan, forged from the same hull mould as her larger cousin the 47 Sedan. Leigh-Smith Yachts have developed the 43ft “Compact version” aimed at providing the largest vessel platform with a mid-queen cabin that fits into a 12m marina berth. One of the class leading differences is the 4.2m beam – variable deadrise hull design offering a far more stable and volumetric platform ensuring the vessel can cruise comfortably at 9-10kn or sprint to 20kn+ yet also is incredibly stable & conformable whist at anchor.
The new Alaska 49 is set to make a splash at SCIBS 2016. A spirited performer, this stunner offers a pilothouse feel with the single level usability of the famous sedan format. Simple boating with minimal maintenance and a focus on luxurious living spaces make this established performer one of the best Motor Yachts on the market today.
Of special interest is certain to be the new Elandra 53 :- Beyond it sleek profile and well-proportioned lines, the discerning will be enticed by a signature development. Elandra incorporates an incredibly broad beam that provides immense cockpit deck space with aft lounge. This elegantly transitions with the saloon, which opens up to combine a generous indoor/outdoor entertainment area on a single level.
Second-hand boats will include a 2011 Hampton 650 Endurance, 2001 Azimut 100 Jumbo, 2005 Monte Fino 88 Flybridge, 2005 Kingfisher 56 Royal and a 2007 Fairline 47 Targa.
LSY will also collaborate with Rolls Royce, Aston Martin & McLaren by sharing our showroom and co-branding events through the show.
